Montacute House in Somerset. The house was built for Sir EDWARD PHELIPS, a successful lawyer,
Speaker of the House of Commons, Master of the Rolls and Chancellor to the Household of Prince HENRY.
It was completed in 1601. Montacute was used as a backdrop in the award-winning film Sense and Sensibility,
and is now in the care of the National Trust.
